Retail Sales broke out to a new high; annualized, it was +7.2%. That’s a decent result.
Auto/Light truck sales moved back into the normal range over the last 3 years – maybe even slightly above. However, recession-indicator Heavy Truck Sales fell about 9%. That’s not great news.
Nonfarm Payrolls saw a large rise – the 178k increase was the largest increase since Senile Joe/early 2024. Will it last through next month’s likely “downward revision”, which has now become standard practice? I bet not.

Here are some details that I focused on.
First, new sickcare employees were 43% of the big job gains last month. In context, sickcare employment (as a percentage of employment) started shooting higher in early 2022. Perhaps that’s when the mandated-DeathVax injury (“long vax”) started to kick in? Demand for sickcare workers is higher now than it was during the “dancing nurses” at the height of Covid (March 2020). Nothing says “a BOOMING economy” like an ever-increasing need for sickcare workers.
Maybe we should have a national program to treat (mandated) DeathVax injury? Or is that Vaccine Blasphemy?

There was a massive increase in foreign-born job gains this month, alongside job losses for the native-born. These were large increases by the foreign-born.

As thousands of Oracle employees awoke on Tuesday to an email informing them they were being laid off, the workers likely didn’t know the tech company had been busy trying to hire foreign staff. According to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services data, Oracle filed for roughly 3,126 petitions to employ H-1B workers in fiscal years 2025 and 2026.
