CNN’s latest cost reduction exercise appears to be one of those “temporal markers” along the road to the “Mockingbird Media Doesn’t Matter” endpoint. And when this happens – where will all those ex-factotums of “them” (ex-CIA, ex-NSA, ex-FBI) land post-government “service”? Perhaps they’ll run to substack; Chris Cuomo substack has 11k subscribers, who (presumably) pay $60/year each – every post is paywalled – so that’s $660,000/year. How many of those are “mockingbird-funded” subscribers?
