Is there anything we can realistically do to steer events to a more positive direction?
Yes.
It begins with understanding the battlescape, and right now that’s at the level of beliefs and ideas. If we fail to bring forth better ideas that outcompete the terrible, no-good, awful ones that comprise the ‘mind virus’ then the next battlescape will have heavy lead objects whizzing about.
We’re in the midst of a great spiritual battle, one that has transpired over and over again throughout history. People get prosperous, they get lazy, the wrong sorts seek power and eventually, they achieve an unfortunate critical mass. Bad ideas take hold and spread like black mold on damp basement surfaces. From there it’s a hop, skip, and a jump to ‘wrath.’
