In last week’s Scouting Report, we covered some of the ways that Trump’s actions (and those of his larger administration) mapped into a paradigm of intentional destruction of the U.S.
This scouting report carries on with that assessment and then concludes with the things Evie and I are doing with some considerable urgency (and cost) to “do what we can, while we can” on our farm.
The main addition to this growing collection of observations that Trump is either (a) not working in America’s best interest, or (b) is not in control of what happens in DC, is the announcement on 10/31 that he’s getting ready to authorize direct strikes on Venezuelan ports and other land assets.
Of the five pillars of MAGA, No More Wars was #2. Obviously, Trump violated that right away with bombings in Yemen, and later Iran, but now, with a full-blown regime change war about to kick off in Venezuela, that pillar is totally betrayed.
Is this because Trump lied on the campaign trail, or is it that he is not actually in control of what happens in DC? I suspect the latter.
I predicted this outcome when I saw that Ukraine was drying up as a revenue source for the US military-industrial complex (MIC). They need a ‘next thing’ to keep the funds flowing.
Also, Venezuela has the largest proven oil deposits in the world. With the US approaching its last and final peak in oil output, and with Canada now on the outs and making energy deals with Asia, VZ seems to kill two birds with one stone.
