A truly fascinating conversation opened up in last week’s member’s-only comment thread on government-corporate censorship. It sparked within me a wide range of ideas and convinced me it’s time to take the gloves off and say what I really think.
There’s a true darkness lurking within the twin swamps of DC and corporate America. They quite openly stand for things I find truly abhorrent. Maybe that’s a strategy of theirs (“keep everyone shocked and off balance”) or perhaps that’s how they are actually constructed psychologically, but either way it is extremely unhealthy, corrosive and damaging to social cohesion and progress.
So, time to look this beast straight in the face.
