The Federal Reserve manipulates the markets. All of them. Stocks, bonds (of course) but also, in cahoots with other central banks, commodities such as energy and food, and the metals gold, silver, and copper.
That’s what the price action suggests and what the CME Central Bank Preferred Incentive Buying Program confirms.
This presents both opportunities and risks. The opportunity is to buy things below their true market rate. The risk is the Fed hasn’t the slightest clue about the downstream effects of fiddling with prices and only ever makes things worse by doing so.
