Let’s get going…
Russia Takes The Gloves Off
Believe it or not, but Russia has been fighting a fairly restrained war so far. Nothing at all like the carpet bombing of residential housing that Israel is conducting.
But recently, Ukraine has, with no small amount of assistance from NATO, been bombing Russian refineries and ports.
Ukraine crossed some sort of Russian line in the sand by using a HIMARS missile attack to cause a blackout in Belgorod:
🇺🇦🇷🇺 Belgorod reports power outages.Ukraine struck Belgorod’s emergy infrastructure again. Ukraine is able only to hit Belgorod cause it’s on the border. The retaliation hits all of Ukraine. Not sure why Zelensky forces Russia to turn off the lights … to cry for help? pic.twitter.com/sPsfHYHQME

So Russia has finally responded with far less restraint, and now Ukraine is going to find itself reading by headlamps and candlelight for a while.

And Ukraine is going to have to take longer routes when resupplying front-line troops:

And by something other than train:
🇺🇦The train that everyone claimed to be a passenger train, is a military train. One (or two?) passenger wagon for soldiers, behind are cargo wagons and the train itself has a drone cage.Everyone cuts off the real photo, so you don’t see it. But resupply the troops with what? This warehouse complex was built over the course of a year, allegedly took its first deliveries of war materiel from Poland last week, and was promptly greeted by a Russian missile:

I don’t know, maybe next time don’t let your country be run by a second-rate comedian most famous for playing piano on stage with his ball sack?
Chernihiv, October 4, 2025. A thermal power plant is burning. Its proximity to the Russian border means it could be destroyed at any time. Until now, it had been left untouched, but after the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attack on the Kursk region, the war doctrine was revised. Russia… pic.twitter.com/A3RsszThiu
