It’s time for another fatty of a fat pipe, so let’s lay some pipe!
No Kings “Protests”
I’m going to spend a bit of time deconstructing the so-called “No Kings” protest of this weekend because it is an important lens into the forces tearing the country apart.
Billed by the left as “the largest demonstration in US history,” Twitter served up a sea of janky images to bolster that claim.
Here’s one example…for some reason this 2017 video from a Women’s rights gathering in Boston was repeated over and over again by numerous large accounts to support the claim that the 2025 No Kings protest was a massive success:
More mysterious, the video has still not been taken down in embarrassment as of this morning (Monday 10/20/25).
Naturally, it was immediately community noted:

Yet it remains up on at least ten bookmarks I saved…
Here’s a montage of the massive protests from 11 separate US cities.

And here’s a shot-by-shot summary of where those images actually came from:

So the question is, why are so many faked shots part of the game? Why is there zero embarrassment on the part of the people and news outlets “reporting” these fake images? Is their fakeness actually a feature and not a bug? Inquiring minds would like to know…
Yeah, I don’t think that Grannie dipped into savings to make this prop:
There was the exact same prop in Seattle, speaking to this being a coordinated (and expensive) stunt:
Bringing the receipts, Nate Friedman exposes paid operatives who seem to have made a living out of being at these events.
