Good morning and happy Monday, everyone. Evie and I had an especially busy weekend doing an endless variety of farm projects. One of my larger challenges has been figuring out where and how to store all of the things that we’ve ordered.
I mowed fields, cut wood, assembled things, weeded the garden, and made time to speak with a neighbor (well, next town over) who shares our outlook on the world and the direction of things.
And, of course, I read the news and scanned X all weekend to keep on top of events. So, let’s dive in.

The U.S. military says it carried out what it called self-defense strikes on Iranian radar and drone control sites over the weekend, while Iran says it targeted an air base used in the U.S. attack. https://t.co/DWfruvc6o9

Iran’s Foreign Minister did not mince any words:
For immediate attention:The ceasefire between Iran and the US is unequivocally a ceasefire on all fronts, including in Lebanon. Its violation on one front is a violation of the ceasefire on all fronts. The US and Israel are responsible for the consequences of any violation.

Ditto for Iran’s top negotiator:

As you probably already know, Trump sank the proposed peace deal (MOU) by adding last-minute ‘requirements’ on Friday. Over the weekend, no observable progress has been made. It’s almost like he wants the Strait of Hormuz to remain closed (the subject of last Friday’s Scouting Report, if you haven’t seen it).

Iran, noting the barbaric and savage destruction of Lebanese towns and cities by Israel, just reiterated that these actions are violations of the ceasefire agreement that
