PeakProsperity.com's gold & silver analyst joins Off The Cuff this week to discuss his tingling spider-sense, which is predicting a price breakout in silver:
Managed money in silver has been record-short for a month now. I've been expecting something exciting to happen for a while and it gets me saying, yeah, silver is still waiting to break up. But it's incredibly offside managed money, and I think the potential for a massive short squeeze is just high — this is what the commercial's do. They will go and wait for the timing, and then they will just go and buy like crazy — and then managed money just panics out.
Look at the gold/silver ratio – it's slightly above 80 although, probably not after today – and when things are that high, what that means is, the price of silver has been pushed down. If you look at the charts, we've had a descending triangle on silver and ascending triangle on gold.
