Chris recorded this podcast shortly after completing his recent report on the in-process collapse occurring in the key systems around us. Economically, envrionmentally, socially — it's happening everywhere. Chris spend an hour exploring the collapse dynamic further, ending with this succinct prediction:
What the central banks have done is really tripped on a very small crease in a tiny rug in the hallway. But boy, they've wiped out on this idea of having any role in the long-term direction of this country. They've surrendered their role as the adults in the room who understand that punchbowls sometimes have to be taken away.
Understanding there are times when you have to do a little bit of short-term sacrifice for greater long-term gain. None of that, none of that is in play here. They're just totally craven and weak individuals — now the absolute slaves of the stock market.
If it's going up, well, they'll keep doing what they're doing. If it goes down, well, they'll adjust their policy. That's that. That's how that's going to continue going for a while.
