Here’s a quick Scouting Report, which will happen from time to time as circumstances warrant.
First, I wanted to spend a bit of time explaining why I am going to put more effort into deep dive reports, which will be called ‘Renaissance Reports.” I explain the name in this video, as well the reasons why it was time for me to shift my focus.
Second, I think Japan is flirting with a severe financial and/or monetary accident, and that this may explain why so much big money is buying gold and silver. They are concerned with counterparty risk.
I introduce the concept of gold being a “Tier 0” asset, placing it higher than US Treasuries or cash in the settlement system. Enjoy!
