Commodities Continue to Rumble

In keeping with our focus on commodities I am going to take another quick peek at them here.

But first, I want to let you know that Adam and I are going to be attending something called Renaissance Weekend (info on it found here), which will give us an opportunity to rub elbows with some very interesting people, tell our tale, learn some new things, and seek out ways to advance our mission of spreading awareness about the issues in the Crash Course. Last year I got seated on a number of economics panels, was labeled a ‘gold bug’ by the moderator of the very first panel I sat on, and that stuck with me the rest of the weekend.

Needless to say, I was an unabashed advocate of gold and silver at that time, and so I will return something of a victor in that skirmish. We will post what we can of the meeting, but the rules are very strict about not revealing anything said by any specific individual, and we’ll be honoring the both spirit and intent of the meeting and its organizers.

Along the way, I will be keeping very close tabs on the developing market situations and expect to be posting regularly.

About those markets…

Last we left the Continuous Commodity Index, it had broken out to new all-time highs, and I suggested that its next move should be a back-test of the breakout level.
