Special Scouting Report: This Could Get Ugly, Fast

The U.S. and Iran are back at it.  Missiles are flying and this could get out of control, fast.  Since August 24th four ships including a Saudi Arabian VLCC (the BIG crude carrier) have been severely damaged by Iranian anti-ship cruise missiles.

Just this morning (9/1) Iran reportedly launched a large number of antiship missiles toward an area of the Sea of Oman where both crude ships and U.S. Naval assets are scattered about.  What happens if a U.S. ship is struck with a large loss of life?  We all know; the U.S. will then be ‘committed by blood’ to dial up its attacks against Iran.

If that happens, all bets are off the table except one, the global economy will get shanked.

Which means financial markets will tank, and the already creaking and groaning G7 bond markets will sell off even harder than they already are.

My Track Record

I’ve spent the past six months glued to my X feed and other sources of information.  I’ve scoured and analyzed, accepted and rejected a huge amount of information; an increasingly difficult job given the amount of AI slop out there.

This is where I’ve come to here on the 1st of September 2026.

Either our systems of money and economy are either about to crash, and crash hard, or the world is not nearly as dependent on energy as I think it is.
