Hello everyone, Chris here with your scouting report for Peak Prosperity subscribers. Today, I’m diving into some critical issues that are reshaping our society and economy.

This ties into the broader theme of the Fourth Turning, where trust in our institutions like the FBI, CDC, and Harvard is eroding. These institutions have been hijacked by collectivists, socialists, and communists, who thrive on fear, loathing, greed, and envy. Their methods are destructive, and history shows us where this leads if unchecked.

In Maine, we’re seeing a microcosm of this national trend. The state, particularly Portland, has been overtaken by liberal ideologies from Massachusetts, leading to policies that many residents oppose, like men competing in women’s sports under the guise of transgender inclusion. Despite a clear majority against this, the minority’s voice is being amplified, showcasing a breakdown in democratic processes.

The manipulation of public opinion through social media, as demonstrated by a 2012 experiment by Facebook, shows how emotional contagion can be weaponized. This isn’t just about influencing consumer behavior; it’s about controlling minds, which is a key aspect of fifth-generation warfare. This warfare targets cognitive biases, creating confusion and division, which we’re witnessing in our society today.
