There’s really no other way to view things for me; my country barreling toward a disaster. So too is the world, judging by Ukraine sending bombs at a Russian territory nuclear plant in the Kursk region and Israel bombing a Russian airbase in Syria last night.
For those keeping score at home, in the past week, Israel has invaded Lebanon, bombed the only three functioning electrical power plants in Yemen and bombed a Russian airbase in Syria. Obviously not actions in keeping with a country “defending itself.” This is a country being a bully fully confident it can drag its bigger bully the U.S. into the conflict.
Meanwhile, the Helene tragedy continues to unfold in Western NC and Eastern TN. The government is grudgingly, slowly showing up 6 days later, totally not fit for purpose or up to the task.
