Scotland’s political “leadership” is seeking to drive the country to ruin. How? By demonizing their remaining fossil fuels with the intent of “leaving them in the ground” because of “climate change.”
Okay, fine, but before doing this the politicians had better have a complete plan that grasps the fundamental laws of thermodynamics and is firmly rooted in an appreciation for the role of surplus, or net energy in elevating living standards and prosperity.
Sadly, the current crop of leaders have no such appreciation nor are they rooted in reality. Accordingly, I judge them to
