It was another super busy weekend at the Martenson farm… Evie and I are really prepping as if it were our only job. Mainly still focused on energy improvements under the theory that electricity and gasoline are going to get prohibitively expensive here in good old MA. And we’re also turning our attentions to our garden and converting more of our filed into food production.
We haven’t even begun to crack the code for how we’d grow most or all of our fodder for our cows and chickens, but we’re going to get started this year.
War Crimes
This morning Trump tweeted out that if a deal is not reached with Iran and the Hormuz Strait is opened, the U.S. “will conclude our lovely ‘stay’ in Iran by blowing up and completely obliterating all of their Electric Generating Plants, Oil Wells and Kharg Island (and possibly all desalinization plants!).”
Effectively, he’s saying, “We’ll just trash the place and stomp off!” Whether these are prosecutable war crimes is unknown to me, but it seems possible; I can state that these are unacceptably immoral and unethical threats.
It is somewhat humorous that Trump and the White House channel are routinely getting community noted on X as highlighted above.
But the truth is, the war is not going well at all. Even the BBC has got it right, which is quite a stunner:
